Teletherapy
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, we also provide the option of teletherapy services to current and new clients. Nevertheless, Clients receiving teletherapy services must be physically located in Maryland per state law. Please let us know

Prior to Your First Teletherapy Session
​
A therapist-intern will contact you from a blocked phone number to conduct a complimentary 15-min intake. After the intake, if we decide that we are a good fit for therapy services, you will be put on our waitlist, and once you are assigned a therapist, he/she will email you the paperwork you will need to complete prior to your first teletherapy session.
For Individual Therapy:

We can only serve clients for Individual therapy for those who can meet these criteria:

You are 16 years and older
-
You do not have any untreated, severe mental health diagnoses, including substance use disorder
-
You have not experienced suicidal ideation and/or attempts that resulted in hospitalization in the last three months
-
We do not treat psychotic disorders (only for family support), autistic disorders
For Couple Therapy:
If seeking Couple therapy, we will conduct intake with each partner separately, prior to the first teletherapy session.
We can only serve clients for Individual therapy for those who can meet these criteria:​

You and your partner are 16 years and older
-
There is no current (or in the past six months) physical aggression that resulted in seeking medical care in the last 6 months
-
You and your partner do not have any untreated, severe mental health diagnoses, including substance use disorder
-
You and your partner have not experienced suicidal ideation and/or attempts that resulted in hospitalization in the last three months.

We do not treat psychotic disorders (only for family support), autistic disorders
For Family Therapy:

Prior to the start of therapy with minors, we need signed consent from all legal guardians of the minor(s).
We can only serve clients for Family Therapy for those who can meet these criteria:

At least one legal guardian can be present at every therapy session, in the same room as the minor

There is no current (or in the past six months) domestic violence in the household
-
Those participating in therapy process do not have any untreated, severe mental health diagnoses, including substance use disorder

Those participating in therapy process have not experienced suicidal ideation and/or attempts that resulted in hospitalization in the last three months
-
We do not treat psychotic disorders (only for family support), autistic disorders
